Mental Health and Wellness Center

The Mental Health & Wellness Center is staffed by two full-time Mental Health and Wellness School Social Workers, Mental Health Interns, and Clinicians from Community Based Organizations. The MHWC works collaboratively with staff at the school site and District office.
 
The MHWC provides a number of free and confidential* services and supports to the school community including:
  • Crisis intervention
  • Psychoeducation
  • Mental health counseling services, support, and case management.
  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy (brief)
  • Family therapy (brief)
  • Referrals to long-term mental health and susbtance use counseling
  • Linking students and families to resources on campus and in the community.
HOW DO I REFER A STUDENT FOR SERVICES?

  • Please note that Mental Health and Wellness School Social Workers will make contact with the student and assess for services within two weeks of receiving a referral.

The Calming Space

Located next to the Administration Office facing the X-Quad, The Calming Space is a drop-in resource for all students to access to relax and self regulate. The Mental Health and Wellness School Social Workers provide self regulation stations that students can use as needed.
